We're a multidisciplinary private practice providing music therapy, recreational therapy, and community wellness services across South Texas.

As a music therapist at RGV-MTWC, you'll provide individualized, evidence-based music therapy services that empower clients to achieve meaningful therapeutic goals. Our music therapists work across a variety of settings—including our therapy center, community locations, healthcare facilities, schools, homes, and telehealth—serving individuals of all ages and abilities. We value creativity, clinical excellence, and culturally responsive practice, and encourage therapists to bring their unique strengths while collaborating within an interdisciplinary team.

Music therapist must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in music therapy and a current, professional credential (MT-BC) recognized by the Certification Board for Music Therapists.
As a recreational therapist at RGV-MTWC you'll use recreation, leisure, and community participation as therapeutic tools to improve health, independence, and quality of life. Therapists develop individualized interventions that promote physical, cognitive, emotional, and social well-being while helping clients build meaningful leisure lifestyles. Services are provided in a variety of settings, including our therapy center, community organizations, healthcare facilities, homes, and virtual environments, allowing therapists to create engaging and client-centered experiences beyond traditional clinical spaces.

CTRS or TRS/TXC • strong clinical reasoning • creativity • community orientation
Recreational therapists must have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in therapeutic recreational and a current, professional credential (CTRS or CTS/TXS) recognized by the National Council for Therapeutic Recreational Certification or Consortium for Therapeutic Recreation/Activities Certification.
As an art therapist at RGV-MTWC, you'll support clients in exploring emotions, developing coping skills, and fostering personal growth through the creative process. Working alongside music and recreational therapists, you'll provide individualized and group art therapy services in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment. We value therapists who are passionate about culturally responsive, strengths-based care and who are excited to help expand creative arts therapies within the communities we serve.
